I am a descendant of Abel Wright, Sr. (~1631-1725). He's my 7th (and 9th) great-grandfather! My parents discovered that Abel and his wife, Martha Kitcherel were ancestors of both of them when both their parents discovered the same story about Martha. In July of 1708, Martha was scalped by Indians and she did not die until October. Since that was pretty unusual, it caught there attention and the connection was made.
